Bangalore University SUCKS
Bangalore university totally sucks. This is what every student feels if he has studied under this university syllabus. this is the most corrupt university with a shit-ass syllabus. The syllabus is so outdated. Im a law student and my college is affiliated to BU. I tried for top colleges like NLS and when i didnt get i had to study in a college like seshadripuram law college. The college is not to be blamed. The university is!!!.. I am in 1st year right now but know everything what they teach in 4th year. So i am wasting 3 years of my life. I would like to ask a question to BU. why is their syllabus so backward?.
Passing a final exam under the BU is very very easy. Just cotact a official working there. and yes pay some amount of money to them. Why do all the hard work and pass?? Some Students get more than you by just paying some amount of money. I`ll tell you through my experience that BU sucks.
I expected 80s in Economics but got 58. This is because of the careless correction by the teachers who wouldnt have studied more than you. YES,its true. The BU appoints teachers from village or even the peons. just gives them the answers & rest is upto them. they can even give you 20 out of 100. People think revaluation is a good option. Well tell you what guys. Its not!!!. Bangalore University just makes money.A LOT OF MONEY through revaluation. The correction is going to be still the same. One friend of mine went to the revaluation counter. The guy sitting behind the counter asked her for money(under the table). My friend had the confidence that hes gonna get good marks and didnt pay him money but guess what. his marks didnt change.
When people are learning about how to make a robot. BU will teach you about screws n nuts, just the basics. Ive wasted time doing PUC as even in law i waste time revising what i did in PUC.
If you have a brother, sister, friend, son . Advise them to take up CBSE or ICSE which will help them in the future and never to take up PUC

Child Labour in Bangalore
Yes, its a very common thing in bengaluru. what has the government done about this. hmmm. think about it. Absolutely nothin. Even the Child Labour Authorities are sleeping.
Every single day i see small children working. Once i even questioned the restaurant(Shanti Sagar, sadashivnagar) authorities as to why they where employing children and its a crime. I told them that i can complain to the cops and immidiately 4 guys working in the restaurant surround me . I had to leave immediately or would have got all bashed up.
How many of you`ll travel in Bus? I`ve seen children sell newspapers, chains, handkerchiefs, food in Bus Depots, and not any small Bus station. Big ones like Shivajinagar,K.R.Market and Majestic. It is a very sad scene. I wish i could do something about it. Just look at the situation in Bangalore (a.ka. IT city, Silicion city or Garden city). A small boy works in the cycle shop and another boy in a garage which are next to each other. These 2 shops are behind my house in Fraser Town. I can`t argue with them cause i will be inviting trouble. Are the freaking ministers even bothered about what is happening in the city? You know the answer!!
Auto-Rickshaw Lane (Useless lane)
Callous: It is common to find autorickshaws ignoring the lane earmarked for them in Bangalore.
BANGALORE: Have the exclusive auto lanes managed to instil some discipline in the traffic as was hoped? Not quite, if we were to judge by the traffic and the callous attitude of motorists towards the exclusive lane earmarked for autorickshaws.
The city police have created separate lanes for autorickshaws on either side of Queens’ Road (from Cubbon Road junction to Mahatma Gandhi statue) and again from Tiffanys Circle to the Corporation, not to mention St. Mark’s Road.
While there are autos that blithely speed along on the main road ignoring the lane, drivers of two-wheelers and cars, on the other hand, can be seen zooming through the lane at breakneck speed, little realising that the lane is not meant for them. The police also seem to turn a blind eye to the violations, leaving the law-abiding motorist infuriated with both the police and the errant drivers.
What of pedestrians? The safety of pedestrians, as always, seems to have been overlooked.
The exclusive lane can become virtual death trap for them. Morning walkers in Cubbon Park say that if they were earlier wary of stray dogs in the vicinity, now their new worry is the vehicles zooming along this lane will put their life at risk.
Several visitors to Cubbon Park and regular walkers testify to the dangers of such lanes. They point out that as the lane is bricked from one side, motorists speed along without caring for the safety of others on the roads. They say that they are not against any innovation or measure to smoothen the traffic flow. All they want is adequate regulation to control the speed freaks. Till then, they say, they will have their heart in their mouth when crossing the exclusive lane.
They only hope that the police now do not go on an overdrive marking such unmonitored lanes on all major roads, leaving pedestrians and motorists at the mercy of rash drivers.
